Some of the best, and worst people I've ever known were bourbon drinkers.

Same with potheads, but, if you get the potheads high, even the worst are pretty alright.....lol

This does NOT work the same with bourbon. Or cocaine.

I would imagine that if a mod/THE MOD approved it, you'd see the OP shown as a vendor. But who knows....? Anything is possible.

Yeah yeah. I've considered applying for a jobby at my local Toyota dealership, and basically telling the management that they need to let me get on here and compete with Camelback.

Then, setting up an aftermarket shop...in the dealership that would allow me to "outfit", "accessorize", or generally "make bad ass" vehicles customers bought at an actual normal price, with KOALA-TEE parts, instead of spacer lifts.

$113 shipped for intermittent wiper stalk! Not bad, but only about $10 cheaper than Amazon would give it to me in 2 days for.

I ran that very same scenario past 3 different dealer/owners I know. All 3, within the first breath out of their mouths after I was done explaining it to them, went into depth about their insurance liability, and their parent companies policies on modifying warrantied vehicles. Not saying it ISN'T a good idea, just one that not too many dealers will buy into.

Oh, I was quoting without wiring lol, that's just parts cost even from that discounted website.

I assume you still don't have your OEM fogs?

    Well, the funny thing is....

My local dealership ALREADY adds spacer lifts to like 20% of their trucks, whether it be a Tacoma or a Tundra. Tbis causes premature wear on the....yada yada yada. So, in all reality, they are actually putting themselves in more jeopardy, by doing it the way they are doing it as far as insurance goes.

Also, this dealership is actually Toyota Corporate owned. So I'd assume the added part sales competing with Camelback would be an incentive.

There isn't a much safer way to upgrade your suspension than by having proper parts installed by a tech that works on these vehicles every day. (I know some are idiots, but, in all reality, I'd trust a Toyota tech over a 4wp tech...).

Also, the accessory shop would probably sell more wheels and tires than suspension parts. So, just stock some fab shits from SCS, and the proper tires...and BAM. Increased sales.

I have already ran this past them, however they just changed management. I have somewhat of an "in" if you will, in the Finance Manager, (she's super hot too, like, unreal hot) as I've known her for years and she was my first boss at Purple Crab (red lobster...).

I don't have high hopes, its just been a thought and kind of a dream. One issue I do see, is that there aren't a lot of Toyota enthusiasts where I live. Mostly coal rollers, or cheby/ferd/doodge fanboys. So essentially, I would be trying to appeal to a different crowd. However, if successful, I could get some more wheeling fellers.
