Damnit! Are you trying to get me to make 3 separate purchases from them in a week? I might have to stay away from TW for a few weeks.... :plane: :)

I have both fog lights if you still need them. let me know. I cut the wire about 4 inches behind the connector incase I needed to re splice them to something. I just used the factory wires hooked to the fog light switch OEM for the new LEDs i put in their place once I got rid of thestock front bumper.

I ordered a set of those wiring adapters so I'll pass on the lights. The previous owner of my truck had already removed the factory fogs so I wasn't aware the wiring harness plugs into a H10 bulb

Did you end up using your stock shocks with the AAL? And were they okay? I need to send one rear shock in but I was wondering what to use in the meantime. TIA!

It doesn't look like it. The buyer is likely flying in this Saturday to pick it up, and if he doesn't I am just going to let it sit in the garage until he does. @GSPRunner worked his detail magic on it so I don't want it to get dirty.

We did Jesse's CVs and outer tie rod ends the other night so he should be set. Last I heard he was still going.

If I don't leave town this weekend I'll ride along with someone.

I am now in a pickle... I don't know what to do for suspension. I budgeted a lot of money for it, but 3 of the 4 people have told me to get the Ironman Foam whateverthefucks which is only like $1,300 for the whole shabang.

That said, I am picking up my GX on Thursday. Test drove it today and I am in love. 2006 Sport with a dealer service record every 5,000 miles since new.

You guys really don't need to worry about it... Do you honestly care about your old stock shocks? No. Worst thing that would happen is overextending them at full droop. Planning on wheeling a ton on a temp setup? Prolly not, you're good. If so? Yeah who cares its a stock shock :)

this is what I always heard. You want the right strap for the weight of the vehicle's. From ARB website:

"When choosing a snatch strap for use, it is recommended that the strap has a minimum breaking strength (MBS) of between two to three times the vehicle’s gross vehicle mass (GVM). When using a snatch strap to recover a stranded vehicle, the MBS should be suited to the GVM of the lighter of the two vehicles involved in the recovery process."

Based on that for a Tacoma, you would want 10k-12k for most applications.

Considering the Front Runner is going to be my first mod; we're going to be twinning pretty hard.

It was my first move since i was coming from a truck and needed to haul shit for the house. I think a utility trailer off CL might be in the cards come spring.

I am going to be looking to upsize from what I have. 4x8 ft inside dimensions, 2950 gross rated single axle, 2 ft tall sides with rails I've tied down to plenty of times, and tailgate drops down as a ramp. I've adjusted suspension to give it a lift as well (changed from spring under to spring over axle). Sits on a 2 inch ball, 4 pin flat wiring harness, and I changed out the lights to LEDs. I rewired it at that point as well, so I know wiring is done right. 2x6 wood deck in it that is still very solid. It's a 2010 Trax.

The size of trailer is great for Tacomas, and I was able to back that in to pretty much anywhere I wanted, usually on the first shot. It is short now for my dodge and turns too fast in reverse. You buy mine, then I buy a bigger one for me...
