What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Well today was a day of fixing things. I remounted my Icon remote reservoirs after the pipe clamps all failed on the rears, installed the mirror riser that has been mocking me since our last encounter, and moved my dashcam. I also mounted my backup flashlight in its holster on the side of my seat. Fits well and the back of the plastic on the seat has some ribbing that the holster locks into nicely.

Not too bad for a Tuesday, I suppose.

BE CAREFUL! I busted the shit outta my windshield the first time. Take your time, take the mirror off, then slide on the riser. You'll have to push it up into the headliner a little bit but it will be fine. Mine is already somewhat lose from running my dashcam wiring, but if it's too snug you can detach the MTS/CC/upper panel and manipulate the headliner from inside there if you wish. Then reinstall the mirror and you're all set.

It's designed for 2nd gens but fits the 3rd reasonably well. Now i just need to find something to put on the ram mount.

Nice!!! I sent these guys an email a while ago if it fits. Thanks for confirming it does. I always felt the mirror hangs kinda low in general.

 

I emailed them a couple of questions as well and never heard back. I was hesitant to send them money after that.

I just ordered custom ones for my MGM. got a set of dark gray and black so I can decide. Like you, I don't like it to stand out too much.

The softopper I ordered a little over 2 weeks ago finally arrived today. The weather delays in Oregon were killing me last week! total cost in CAD was just under $1200, compared to hard shells starting at 2000!
even though I'm sick as a dog today i just had to get her installed.

 

I am also waiting for deliveries here in Oregon. 4ft of snow along with ice storms sure make it hard to get anything. Now that it's clear I wish it would get above 35 degrees during the day.
