We've never witnessed one before & she doesn't remember it at all so if it happened before & we didn't see it we would know. She was sitting next to me on the couch when it happened. I at first I thought she was goofing around with her little cousin & then realized she wasn't, I jumped up & rolled her on her side. Scared the shit out of me.
By the time the EMT's showed up she was coming out of it. It only lasted a total of about 2 mins.

Luckily my mom's an RN so I've learned a couple things whether I knew it or not. Haha
As a matter of fact mom went to nursing school when we lived in Columbus.

 

Ive seen one of my buddies have one before. Scary as could be.

It is, she was stiff as a board & spitting. I'll never forget it & hope it won't happen again.
When it was all over she acted like she had just woke up from a nap.

If you've never seen it happen before I imagine it would scare the hell out of you. The good thing is you stayed calm and what you didn't know you learned kicked in. Main thing is to just make sure they don't hurt themselves.

I've seen people seize so much it doesn't even faze me.
