Noticed this and it was aggravating. I would get in my 01, then get in the 17. And go back and forth trying to figure out what the fuck happened with the design. It's just plain weird getting into this truck as opposed to every other truck I get into lol. I've since moved my seat back and moved on. But now I'm curious again

I am thinking of getting one of those small low rider steering wheels.

I traded my 2007 in in late August and have not noticed it. Feels the same. Seat adjustment?

Happened in my 17 SR5. It drive me nuts. When I put the steps on it, I just started using those, even though the stuck is still at stock height. Now my leg enters at a different angle and it's fine.

There is a very simple fix for the issue.

Though buying a Tundra would probably be cheaper in the long run.

I'm also long legged, but my arms are average length for my height (5' 11.75"). This means I'm in a weird struggle between having slightly uncomfortable leg position to allow for total arm comfort, or absolutely no arm comfort for slightly better leg comfort. I used to hit my shins until I put an OBDII dongle down there for the Torque app. If i'm not careful, it'll surely get knocked ... so I really plan my entry these days.

Dunno what to tell ya bud. Just learn to maneuver your body parts so that you don't bump your knee.

Seat position.... I cannot even get into my buddy's truck... he has the seat so far forward...!!!

I'm 5-11 and like to sit back from the air bag and have fairly straight arms while driving....

Telescoping out all the way makes a surprising amount of difference after you've tilted up all the way.

Only problem I have with the wheel is that I want it to extend more. It literally telescopes LESS THAN ONE INCH... about 7/8"... I just measured.

I've hit the bottom of my right knee / top of my shin on the switch panel left of the wheel a couple of times. Think I've hit my left on it a couple times squirming around, too.
