Yeah, I read that too quickly..

However, it seems like a lot of people get confused when it comes to suspension travel and shock travel. Added droop in the suspension and shock shaft is going to come at a lose of up-travel, which will net the same travel #s for the suspension and shock.

Luckily I understand some things. Good thing that I am happy with my rear set up. I plan on no changes. Too bad this kit wasnt out before I did my relocate.

Nickle plating would be siiiick! Id opt for this on the flip kit and shock tower. It would look really good with fox shocks.
Plus the added protection is great.

And if you had total choas arms up front it'd tie it all together.

You could make it an option since you said its no aditional cost, painted or plated. (I think thats what you said)

I know im gonna ask pretty please do mine in nickle plating.

@ARCHIVE will there be any applications (I.E type of 14'' shock) where you can retain the stock shock mounts on the axle?

I apologize if you've already gone over this.

I really haven't thought hard on that, it might be possible but the frame taper and stock axle mounts being narrow makes it seem extra difficult to me.

    Some of the things...
@ARCHIVE I'm going to be ordering the shackle flip and shock relocate together, do you think the official shock mounts will be released before the FEB 1 price increase? I'll PM you a few questions regarding my specific setup so as not to clutter up the thread.

Probably not, I really want to make sure it's good for you guys. I will be making a package deal when buying both.

Archive shackle flip, Dakar 7 leaf pack, B110's. Rear of truck squated 1/2" with my 1300 lb M1101 trailer full of mostly Oak. Just a real world test of carrying capacity with Dakars and the shackle flip.

This will be my second trip to NH with the trailer loaded like this. 250 miles. Also took it to PA with the same load. Tows great. The flip seems to have no adverse effect on towing FWIW.

Does anyone here have their stock shackles? I have a different shackle flip on mine and want to go back to the stock shackles...

If I wanted a shackle flip, for sure! But I just want to un-flip my shackle for now! I have some other plans for my rear-end long term, but for now I just want to undo this mod. Someone on here has to have stock shackles they could hook me up with! :)
