once upon a time you had to spend big bucks to get a decent quality deck. nowadays the quality and features of the cheapies have gone way up to the point of the higher end radio prices being hard to justify.

For those with an after market bumper and no winch
do the 881's work out fine? I don't need to achieve maximum lift. more concerned with rubbing/bottoming out on the road.

Mine sagged after about 5 yrs of abuse. I was running no bumper at all for most of that time. I was running 265/75r16, no rubbing on stock BS wheels. Definitely lost some height when the shocks went, but got my $ worth out of them.

    But that's a 3rd gen pickup. :p

Looks killer man! Are you retiring the 4runner for wheeling?

Hey it is a 95 now,,,thanks it is a blast to drive.... I am planning to mod the taco further to enjoy overland a bit more. It has a good start. The 4runner is sitting nice and cozy in the garage between ski days. I owe it a good buff and wax, but it's going to get more:D. It will still get plenty of use specifically when the wife and dog go or something. I expect it to be a hard choice at some point.

I'd say across the top of your bumper, easier to damage.

Across the top of your windshield, or on a roof rack if you had or wanted to get one.

Sell it and buy a 42. I don't know, just get some L shaped metal, drill some holes into the ends and self tap them into the chrome caps on your bumper.

Or if you have access to a vice try and bend them to get them to fit :notsure:

    Yes, sounds like ezfab.

You won't be able to make those fit a 50'' no matter how you bend them. Not enough steel. Will have to buy a new set.

That's what I figured. I'd like to see how a 50 looks first don't want it to hang off the sides a lot

So I just took delivery of an OME kit.

for the shackle/bushing part it came with

    1- OMEGS12 greasable shackles

    1- OMESB88
    2- OMESB89

the 88 is supposed to be for the greasable shackles and the 89 is for reusing the stock shackles .

they look identical other than the 89 comes with a 2" x .5"D piece of metal. Not sure what that is for.

    Help?
