Hey guys, so after buying my truck on Sunday, I have been cramming as much info on the truck from here, my manual, and a few other sites. My truck is not doing anything that I can tell and it currently has 200 miles on it. Still getting a feel for it. Drive around with the stereo off to just listen. My questions are:

What are these tsb-xxxxx you speak of?

    What are Entune updates?

On my head u it I see a micro Sd I guess for maps ?? Does that need to be updated?

And do I need to get my transmission fluid checked ???

The only thing I reall noticed about the transmission so far is if I'm braking to come to a red light or need to stop in traffic, I can feel it downshift as I'm breaking. I that makes sense.

Sheesh definitely not like my 1st, and 2nd gen. This thing seems super computerized. Love the truck tho ! Thanks guys

Dont worry about tsb's unless you notice something is not right.

Entune updates are like tsb's. Just an update. If your radio acts funny, shuts down randomly, look into them.

    Map updates cost money.

You could get the transmission fluid checked. From what i've seen it tends to be mostly with the tow package.

Dont worry about it until something stands out. Enjoy your truck and dont let this site freak you out.

Gratz on the new truck. :worthless:

If you think somethings off by all means read those thread to get to the bottom of it so it can be resolved. You dont here about the number of people with no issues, only the ones complaining. They have a right to complain and have helped many many others that have had similar issues. I actually need to get the Trans TSB done but the dealer is pissing me off trying to get it done and it doesnt bother me too much, so for now i'm dealing with the minor issue.

Did you get the i4 or v6?

Keep in mind, TSB = Technical Service Bulletin, some people on here have referred to them as recalls which they are not. If you were to have an issue a TSB may fix the symptom otherwise they are not distributed for the masses.

I got my truck almost 3 weeks ago now, very happy with it, still getting used to it. Have about 2k miles on it. I am concerned about the trans fluid because there are documented cases where they are shipping low and there is no dip stick for me to easily verify for myself.

    Enjoy your truck!
