I mean I installed this thing on the hottest day of the year so my nuts were extra moist. But no busting

The supplied bracket isn't the best and can require some bending/shaping to get it just right so most people, including me didn't like the idea of drilling the A-Pillar. Trying to accurately line up the holes with the bracket was going to be a real PITA. I used 3M two sided outdoor tape, others have used the newer velcro type material. My 3M tape has been on for a couple years with no problem.

Duely noted. I guess I'll assess that when I can look at the bracket and hardware

Here's a tip for you guys that I was going to share with @uurx .. when you put your template on it's just a guide so screw in the threaded screws to the snorkel and mark the ends with black pen then press it against the template as to where you want to place it. It will help you get your snorkel as snug to the Truck as possible allowing you to use the velcro method if you choose

How hot does it get in Oceanside in the summer. I'm in southern Arizona. We have many 100°+ days every year and tape tends to melt itself loose.

@HolyHandGrenade bought a 100 feet of this shit because he thought he would need it for his cheap-ass ARB snorkel. He was stupid because he passed on this fantastic GB, to get his ARB snorkel in three days.

I betcha if you drive the 150 miles to his house, he'd give ya a couple inches of it for free.

Some guys also run without the bracket so don't worry that much about it. Just be precise with the support screws and try and keep the body of the snorkel as close to the a pillar as possible

Perfect. If it's only backup then I'm not too worried about it.
