@overland_lj how's this trailer coming? I fucked up a while ago and let my M416 go and haven't been able to find another one that's decent...so I've been eyeballing these.

Man, I lurk here way to much to have completely overlooked this group by. Here is hoping that the next one comes sooner rather then later.

Trailer is going good, mounted the wheels and tires last night. For the price ($400) I think it's a good deal. They retail for $450 but every so often Lowes sales them for $400 and if the lights don't work then they will usually knock $20-$50 off. Modifying is required if you plan on running any non trailer style wheel/tire combo bigger than 27" the fenders have to come off (they are useless anyway, only 7" wide) and the axle will need to be flipped if you need an extra 3" of lift which will then cause uneven wear since the top of the tire will be angled in and bottom will be out. I am ordering a new straight axle next month to fix this. IMG_7720.jpgIMG_7721.jpg

That's a hell of a deal! I never realized Lowes sold these. Decent price. I'm excited to watch this build develop.

Yeah mine won't lock, extremely frustrating, but the worst part is, I just got the replacement ladder today, and it is a sliding ladder, not telescoping ladder. Also, it is 2 inches smaller in width then the telescoping ladder so it does not fit with the mounts on the tent. I almost prefer the sliding lock ladder seams more safe.

Or drill new holes in the ladder. And the tent is only 5 1/2 off the ground 66" actually
