Good meeting @TheTacoma today - always good to be able to put a face to a screen name! With that said, I asked him if he had seen this thread before and he said no, so I figured I would share it with you guys for your own amusement. Not sure how i first came across, perhaps one of the WTF threads?

Oh I like my boss too, he's only 30 and was basically me 6 years ago when he started in this field (same school/degree experience) so that's why he picked me to hire. It's nice, but still not having somebody check on you is nice too.

Depends how far you wanna pull it. I pulled an MR2 on a UHaul trailer from Foley to Gov't and 65. But it sucked the gas clean out.

those totes have a ton of wheat seed each, those pallet forks weigh a couple hundred pounds and that trailer is like freakin solid steel, prolly another ton, so somewhere around 6200lbs or so

I would think so. You're smart enough to not drive it like an idiot, that's when you have issues.

I towed a full size ford f150 conversion van. Terrible on gas mileage, but got the job done.

Awesome good to hear. Thinking about selling the taco and going old school with this.

I've owned 3 XJ's before and have always had a real love for them (my first 4x4) and have been wanting something different from everyone else in the overland crowd.

I've always loved the look of those, but know very little about them to provide any input. I'd still ride with you while sporting a nice patch from Trail Toys:

I spent my years from 16-24ish into Jeep Cherokee's I know pretty much everything about them. When I sold my last one and got a TJ I really missed it. Then I sold that, got a Cummins, and now the Tacoma and I still think about the XJ.

You know... like that one ugly chick that just rocked your world that you think about sometimes while with your new hotter but more boring girlfriend....
