Post your BLACK 3rd Gens

Hey Guys,

I don't think I ever posted up my 17 in this thread. Just a few mods at the moment. AVS window visors, replaced interior bulbs w/ white LEDS, tinted front windows to match back, a smoke colored license plate holder, took off the air dam(done after the pics so I'll take new soon), and purchased black vinyl badge overlays from member rrentrop. I will be installing the overlays this weekend and will update pics. Many many more things to come, just will happen slowly lol. First thing I will be getting is the PRO grille. But I do have a question for the guys that plasti-dipped their stock grille. Was there a particular brand/color to match our paint well? I am going to get the pro grille but will have my current one plasti-dipped until I go pro. Anyway, here she is!

TRD exhaust
TRD Pro skid
TRD Pro grill
Leer 100xr
Thule tracks, feet, and crossbars

Next up wheels and tires when the finance committee (wife) approves the expense.

There you go. I like it, was on the fence between the XL and XR but given that the truck windows are recessed, I like the matching look of the recessed/framed windows on the shell.

 

Nice rig! I'll probably go with this exact topper but with the windoors on both sides.

 

My first time taking the truck to Tahoe, CA for a ski trip and it handled great. The stock Toyos worked well in 4wd. I was impressed. I'm so happy with the DCLB! I can pack so much and still have room for friends and their gear.

I guess I should share my 2017 Black SR5. It's been only a week since I got it and I can't get enough of this truck. It's my first Toyota ever as well a first truck and I could not be happier with my choice.

Just bought this 2016 TRD Sport 4x4 with 1500 miles on it. I had a gen 1 a few years ago and loved it so I was so excited to get this, and it's far exceeding my expectations! I absolutely love this truck! I can't stop driving it! I put leather/heated seats in it for my first "mod". Not quite sure what I want to do first. I'm thinking lighting is going to be my best bang for my buck. Also looking at getting one of the metal/locking cover plates for the bed storage boxes. Anyways, input is appreciated.

Picked it up Monday and yesterday I took it into my shop to do my 0K maintenance.



And, got it detailed the day after.
