Hello I was thinking about lowering my stock rear suspension about an 1" or so, to me the stock sits to high in the back. Then wanted to raise the front about 2". Has anyone done this? Or thought about lowering your rear stock suspension? Is it even possible to do it? And if so would you lower the shackles or remove a leaf spring?

Please let me know your thoughts,
    Thanks!

To get the level look I assume you're going for, many companies make spacers for the front struts (Rough Country's is only 60 bucks) that will make your truck sit 'level'

Disregard if what you're asking went totally over my head and this doesn't apply.

The reason I was thinking about lowering the rear is so I could run 265/75/16 without having a ton of space from the wheel and the fender. I would like for the front end to be a tad bit higher than the back.

We offer a leveling kit, but to increase the ride quality. It lifts the front 2" and leaves the rear leaf springs along, and adds new shocks front and back.

I think lifting the front will be a better solution than trying to lower the back. Or you could just throw like 400-500 LBS in the back to lower it. hahaha
