    and it weight 900lbs, so that's a lot of gas on our trucks, need a diesel engine for it...

    I just used duetsch connectors. I actually ran the lights off the back, wiring tracking the along the bed rack toward the cab (used sticky zip tie mounts for that) then the connection is under the cab. Just pop the one connector and everything removes with the lights. They have been perfectly weatherproof. In water, snow and desert and still work like a charm.

    I would use the same Deutsche connectors. (or however its spelled) - you can get them from waytek wire or you can go with metripacks and get the dummy plugs and extra connectors so that you seal it off when its not in use. I use the same thing for my HID harnesses that I made for a few friends - none of them have seen any leaks since unlike the off the shelf 'all weather' hid relay harnesses you can buy 'pre-made'....
