    Thats the best part. Lol I mean yea big v8 is fun. Wood paneling is "cool" but i'd never intenionally buy one. Rather spend that money on a landcruiser.

    They didn't even work on it :laugh:. He worked with the wyospeed shop in town and narrowed it to the VVT-I. You can google "VVT-I" nose and hear the exact sound I was experiencing. They checked the oil again and found no contaminants/metal. Wyospeed did a oil change with a Lucas additive (getting exact product tomorrow) and it handles start up are quiet now.

    I'm just going to drive it till it dies again.

    I thought you saw them when I picked up your dad's ORIs? Or did I not have them yet?

    If I still have this federal job it will be a tough year to get away but I could probably get some time off in October. They also work 4 - 10hr shifts so I would have 3 day weekends. Going to be nice to have leave again.

    Truck has started flawlessly 3 times now :woot:. My 4wd is still being a bitch. Might be ordering a new actuator soon. It only wants to work when it's warm out so I am guessing there is water in it that's freezing. No 4wd in winter with 35 mud tires...not cool.

    Actuator issues suck..check out jason's new build thread has he just dealt with some 4wd issues. Was a simple fix really just took disassembly.
