So its been cold lately in my area. I got into my 2016 Taco this morning and noticed my windshield is completely iced up on the inside (outside is normal). Is it normal for the inside to be iced up? I'm thinking bad weather seal. I never seen this before on any of my other cars. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

PS: Will call the dealership NOW ;-)

I think this is normally for really cold areas. I was in Jackson Hole last week and the temp was 5 degrees in the day time. I noticed the windshield would freeze on the inside. I've had similar experiences in the past.

id say normal if u cant find any wet spots in the truck. sound like left over moisture from being in the car (fogged it up then it iced up)

Mine does the same thing - especially when the temperature drops significantly outside after the truck was warm inside. Our Subaru does the same thing, though not as bad.

Your truck goes from recirc to fresh air when the truck turns off. So it's gonna get cold damp air inside the truck.

Ha! I had been wondering what that little electric motor noise is when I shut the engine off.

It must be very humid in your area, or you are mouth-breathing in your truck before you shut it off.

    all tore up already
not normal, but probably not bad either. think its the same as how the inside glass had condensation on it in the summer months. havent figured out where the moisture is coming from, but everything ive checked is dry

I live in Maine and have only had this happen a few times in 20 years or so. There must be a lot of moisture in your truck some where, or the air is really moist.

    What did the dealership say?
