I play both sides. Tell them my top dollar I'm willing to spend (total cost OTD) and then tell them what I can afford to put down and what the monthly payment needs to be... it's amazing how much more they are willing to make shit happen to move a vehicle when you give them tight constraints

The several people who have contacted me with interest (and suddenly disappeared when payment time came) I've asked them all their intentions with it, like it's my daughter haha. You don't plan on chopping this baby up do you??? Because then it's suddenly not for sale.

 

I miss when negotiating was the norm as well. Now most places have gone to the One Price Guarantee bullcrap, pitching it as less stressful for the customer. But I used to get up and walk over and over and over and just watch that price drop and drop and drop and things get suddenly thrown in haha.

But i'll admit, you asking price is extremely steep for a truck like this when a Tacoma can be had for less now days..Gonna be hard to make that price justifiable to people. Hopefully someone who not only sees the value but also can pay that.

I certainly can't..but would love it none the less.
