It's on and it looks like the color is 99.9% right on the money. It might be a pinch darker but that could just be the angle it sits at versus the bed. 100% happy with it.

Big shout out to @JLee for drooping these of big beefy bastards on Christmas day. apparently these are some of the first to get powder coated with thermoset or thermoplastic paint. I cant remember what he said but you can use a heat gun to patch up small scratches so that's pretty fucking awesome in my book.

I was looking to getting 285/75R16 once my Tacoma got in. Some say that you need to do trimming or chop, but this guy just got a leveling kit. Thought it would help you guys deciding on 275 or 285. I'm going to go with a 3" lift instead. Check it out https://youtu.be/VU8PI-3r_dE

It boggles my mind how Toyota can ask 40k plus for a truck and it not have power seats but a 20k car will have them. Just doesnt make sense for such a simple thing.

Yep... they never had them my guess is not anytime soon really.

The market is geared more to the weekend off-roader and the DIY customer.

Power just isn't in the cards for the Tacoma me thinks.

I don't actually care about seats being powered as long as it can be adjusted to the right position. My wife drives a 2017 Chevy Volt ($40k car) that has manual seats because it's an easy way to save weight.

Power seats would be cool, but once I've got my seat set I never change it. plus I'm not about to let someone else drive my truck, I don't care how giant her tits are, noooo way. just another thing to break if it did come with the truck. and third gens have plenty of electronic crap to break as is...

I'm not going to touch my suspension for at least 5 years. As much as I wanted 285/75R16's I just don't want to tear into the suspension for that. Interesting that this guy used a leveler. since I have a canopy on my truck I'd probably just cut out anything that rubber with the larger tires... I'm sure when I'm ready for my next set of tires though it will happen.

Just do a Toytec front spacer and a rear add a leaf...less than $200 in parts and you keep all the pro suspension in place but get a bit more lift and lift in the rear to hold up that topper.

Yes, this is what mine looks like with this setup. I didn't want to go replacing my suspension yet either.

Thank you, damn nice truck by the way. The link you sent for the front spacer is actually a duplicate for the leaf.

What happens to the stock shocks though when you lift the truck? I assume they only reach so far. If your adding lift isnt that going to pull them further out then what they were designed for?
