But an expo tundra sounds amazing as well. When and if I buy a vehicle, I'm keeping this for good so I don't want any regrets.

I eventually want to turn my Tundra into an Expo vehicle, but for now a DD is good with me. I hear you on no regrets. Luckily I found that with my Tundra, don't miss my 4runner at all and couldn't think of anything better suited (except a 3rd gen Tundra, but $$$$).

I debated that before I sold my 4runner, but just a pain to arrange, haul, store and park. Nothing like just throwing stuff in the back and not thinking twice.

True. If you're hauling more than a beds worth of stuff consistently then no point in a truck. I do smalle loads of stuff and won't need more than that really ever. If I do, my friend has a 10 ft trailer I can borrow anytime.

A Tundra would be best suited for my needs. No technical trails so size isn't a problem. Bigger interior to fit me and passengers. Bed for surfboards/camping equipment. V8 because V8.

I just think if I give up the 4Runner, I'll miss it too much

my biggest "fear" if i sold mine. I love it, but i miss being in a truck, theres a feeling when you're cruising and you're driving a truck. Indescribable

I try and justify it but knowing that I'll be able to afford something like a Tundra when I get out of school and I'll still be able to keep the 4Runner but between a DD, a Tundra, and a 4Runner, the 4Runner will never get driven. The big thing the 4Runner is missing is room for me. I don't need more power but it'd be nice to have. I will be doing a full length roof rack at some point but if I had more room or a bed, it wouldn't be needed

Sometimes being 5'8" has its advantages. Wish I was somewhere in the 6 ft range.

Payments is a big one for me. If I were to sell the 4Runner, I'd look for the lowest mileage 1st gen Tundra I could find and I'd owe money towards it. That's not to mention any of the building costs either. I have some big things I want to still do to the 4Runner but I am content driving it too. With this being the first vehicle I've build, it'd be nice to start over and have all the kinks worked out but I have enjoyed the learning process.

Haha true, I'm 6'1" and felt the 4runner was perfectly fine size wise, but the Tundra is much comfier.

One thing I've never had is a car payment and would like to keep it that way. You should be able to find a nice Tundra for not much more than the sale price of your 4runner.
