I have Dynapro ATMs on my truck currently, and I can't speak highly enough of them, they're amazing tires on and off road.

However, I'm thinking about trying out those new Falkens next go-round.

I have Toyo AT2 265/75/16 and i like them. Has some noise on the hwy, feels stable at speeds, more aggressive then it looks (LT), and great light off road tire. i wouldn't mind buying them again.

I have run the Toyo AT2. From my experience, it is an excellent tire for the Tacoma. Runs smooth and quiet on the concrete and hooks up well on dirt roads and trails. I have had no trouble with gravel roads, but I do recall a guy who drove them a lot complaining the the lugs were chipping.

Overall a great tire. I suspect I will one day buy another set.

Edit : Decent on wet pavement, though my Falkens are better. The Falkens are a softer tire.

Minimal road noise and they last forever. Especially on the midsize trucks

3 of them withing a 15 minute drive of each other. We'll see how things change with the new Discount tire that recently opened.

Anecdotal evidence: I drive my truck heavy on the gas pedal and the only issue I've encountered with Toyo At2's LT265/75/16 is some slippage on acceleration from stop in rain that has just started, so puddling up on the road. I have learned that is mostly just a "me" thing. If I don't gas it I am good to go and tires hook up great. It's just the rear tires so I'm sure being an LT tire and a lighter truck bed with me gunning it is 100% the issue. Tread wear seems appropriate too.

Otherwise they have been great. Have had them for about a year now no issues. All around very happy with my tire choice. Grass seems to be always greener in terms of tires though and you will get the same spiel on every single tire manufacturer, some with great praise and some giving you the typical "they wore too fast and traction sucked". That's what sucked when I was searching for tires initially....but At2's have all around good ratings so I gave them a shot and am happy I did.

I have the toyo open country at2 and am in northeast Ohio. Now this is my winter set and I absolutely love them. Not too aggressive as far as road noise but excellent traction in the snow and rain. I don't plan on off roading them. That's what I have trail grapplers for.

I set some radio stations. That's about it so far.
I had a set of the P series version of the AT2 that came on the 2010 Tacoma I bought a year ago. I was initially disgusted that someone would put passenger rated tires on a 4wd pickup. I have to say that they did pretty well. I live in Portland, so we know rain. They were nearly new when I got the truck, so I kept them on. Besides rainy streets, I took a couple of trips offroad in sand and on dirt. I even took that pickup out to central Oregon to hunt obsidian. I was a little paranoid that the volcanic glass would shred those tires, but no problems on or off road. A little more tire noise than I would have expected, but all in all, not a bad tire.

Will I buy them for this new truck? Probably not. I think I'll step up for the BFGs or the Duratrak tires next summer, about the time the originals hit 40k.

Funny how people's experiences are. I had BFG ATKO before my Toyo's. The BFG's were a one dimensional tire for me. Good off-road but otherwise I found they had below average in performance. Worst tire I have ever had in slippery conditions. When I switched to the AT2's I instantly saw remarkable improvement.

Love em. Maybe 20k on them now, I see zero wear. Nice and quiet for what they are and I got them for a good price. Wish I went a tad smaller for clearance and mpg issues (2mpg loss) but they've served me well.
