I ordered one of the 45's this morning. I received a shipping notification email about 2 minutes later. Can't wait for it to get here!

Edit: Received! It looks great and is well made. I'm satisfied so far. About to test it out with ice.

Ordered a 65 today for $139, too good a deal to pass up. Had been eyeing the 45 but for less than $20 more I figured go big, got a shipping notice within 5 minutes of ordering.

It says these are just under 18" tall, anyone know if these fit in the bed of our truck with a tonneau cover?

It didn't end up being the official test that I had planned, but I haven't been disappointed. I put about 20 pounds of ice in it on Friday 1/13 along with some beer, a gallon of water, and some cold foods. We took it camping that weekend and opened it frequently until Monday morning. I did drain out the small amounts of ice that melted each day. It still had probably 17 or 18 pounds of ice in it on Monday. I took it out of my truck Monday and put it in my garage. I stopped draining the water out then and forgot about it. It still had ice in the water on Saturday 1/21 when I cleaned it out. It's been in the mid 70's during the day here in Georgia up until this week if that matters to you.

I'd buy it again. I may get a 65 in the near future for longer trips.

Since these things are being brought up again I though I would share my experience. I have a 45. It's awesome. THE BEST THING I DID WAS PUT YETI LATCHES ON IT. the RTIC ones were to loose for me but the yeti ones are MUCH MUCH tighter. Fit perfectly and super easy to switch out. Enjoy.

EDIT: and I beat the shit out of mine and it hasn't broken. Going strong for almost 2 years.

I have the yeti 45 - buddy of mine swears by his rtic. I don't see much of a difference except for the price, however, the warranty is 5 years for the yeti and they do have good customer service.

Interesting. The Yeti 65 looks smaller both in outer and inner dimensions than the RTIC.

The only thing I'm worried about it how heavy this thing is.
