which exhaust do you have? I am looking for a deep sounds. Not necessarily loud, just don't want it to sound like a ricer. Can you provide a model number or link?

    Thanks in advance!

I had a local welder cut out my stock muffler and put in a bootleg magnaflow, makes my 4banger sound really deep and doesnt sound ricey until you get in the high RPM's(4500 up). Would upload a video but my laptop will not let me add it

Wasn't expecting it to sound that deep and loud. Does it sound loud from the inside of the truck?

    Thanks for the upload

It is relatively quiet inside the cab, but step on the gas and you'll definitely hear it. There is some drone on the highway but if I turn my radio up a little it goes away

Your exhaust turned out pretty well, Did you get any Hp, Tq, or mpg increase?

Haven't had it on a dyno so I'm not 100% sure but other guys that added better mufflers showed around a 5-8hp increase. She definitely feels quicker though

From previous experience the Toyota factory exhaust system performs very well. The aftermarket exhaust will add a different exhaust note but chances are you won't see any added performance. The flow on the factory exhaust tubing is very good for a factory vehicle.

By no means am I saying don't mod or change it. I'm simply saying I wouldn't expect any gains in performance.

Personally I plan on removing the rear catalytic converter since on my 05 it is a non monitored component. In its place in plan on adding a resonator with v-band clamps.

Just ordered the flowmaster delta 50 2.25. Same as tooter. He sold me on the 100rpm lower torque peak. Will post a thread of sound clips hopefully within the next week. Hope it isn't too loud for my taste though

Thats what i have on mine...and Tooter's posts really helped with the decision. I love the sound. Not too loud and hardly any drone. I found mine on Amazon for $65 and installed for $45.

No. Only other mod (engine related) is a drop in K&N.

Watch your intake plumbing. Any light dust means the K&N is not filtering.

Nice. Remember drone is easy to remove. Just add a resonator if it's too much.
