An AFR gauge is a must have IMO. And you'll probably end up buying much of what he listed.

Ah yes, AFR and a boost gauge, would prob be the minimum I should get.

You can just do the supercharger. But knowing your AFR vs Boost is worth the investment to catch potential issues. So at the minimum I would get a wideband O2 kit, AFR gauge and boost gauge.

The file ending .cuw I believe stands for calibration update wizard. Did you download that app? It's seperate from the Techstream software.

when it was sold as a Trd product did they add all of that with a dealer install? I figured if they didn't feel the need seeing how they would be covering it under warranty if something happened I'm not sure why I would. I just don't want to add a bunch of things and end up with all kinds of problems

I think I found the issue. The breather return on the gas tank was disconnected from the fuel pump install. Doh!

Adding 2 gauges isn't going to cause you 'all kinds of problems'. It's your truck, my friend. Do what you feel is necessary. I'm glad I have an AFR gauge and boost gauge.

Unfortunately we aren't doing a groupbuy, but if you need one I'm sure I can get you a good deal :)

The group buy part was meant to be a joke :D , but I may take you up on that offer. I have something else in the works that I'm going to try first.

Ok guys, well I used my buddy's obd Bluetooth connected to my phone and turns out the open/closed loop is functioning how it should. However I still am going lean with boost unless I go wot. So basically spent 270$ on the afr cal for nothing... fuck

So being that in open loop it reads from the ecu tune does that mean the tune is shit? Is anything else that can cause this like fuel pump or fpr?

Do you mean actually lean, or stoichiometric? Running stoic at low boost then transitioning to rich on higher boost might be fine. All depends on the engine.

It runs stoich in closed but when it switches to open it goes anywhere from 15 to 16 with boost high as 5 psi unless I go above 3k rpm then it drops to 11 or so. I don't think this is normal, I drive on the fwy and going up a hill I'm running 3 to 5 psi while at 15.8 constantly unless it down shifts or converter locks and Rpms go higher than 3k.

Did you hook up the AFR sensor calibrator yet?
