A lot of stuff, just ask and I'd be happy to tell you. Or we could wheeling/camping
With minor trimming or no trimming involved?

Without trimming.. I find it hard to believe that at least 275's wouldn't fit underneath with the extra lift.

You can fit 275's with the pro suspension with no rubbing, that's what a large majority of the other Pro guys did. I have 285/70/17's, with very minor trimming.

another thing to consider is wether your new tire is AT or MT. that adds extra diameter to the overall size.

So what is the best way to hit 3" and 1.5" with a Pro? Haven't found a proper leveling kit for this truck yet. Thinking spacer for the front and new leaf packs for the rear. Never been a big fan of adding a block with longer U bolts. There are some new complete leaf kits out there with better technology and design than just adding a leaf or two. I went with 265/70R17 BFG KO2's with the FN PRO 17x8 rims and I am very satisfied with the fit and look. Going to a 275 is only going to give you a heavier tire and the size will not be very noticeable especially since I have 8" wide wheels that help stretch out the 265. Going with the 285 looks great and if it only requires a little trimming then maybe that is the way to go. I don't like messing with suspension especially when it was designed for our trucks. For those of you that went 285/70R17, do the tires stick out past the fenders? The 265's are exactly flush with the BFG's and it looks factory.

From what I've found there's no way to get 3" lift without swapping the suspension. There are shackle flip kits for the rear that will get you there, but there's no way I'd put 2" blocks up front. Just gotta suck it up, trust me I tried. Here's a few pics of mine with 285's so you can decide.

Anyone who takes a TRD Pro and then puts a spacer kit on it needs to go suck start a shotgun. If a person buys a Pro they better be happy with the suspension that comes on it, because they are spending a ton of money on it. The only way to properly get that 3/1.5 would be to remove the TRD Pro suspension and put something new in. At that point, you mine as well have just gotten a TRD Off-road.

I thought when you buy a trd pro.. you're supposed to keep it stock because it's the ultimate racing machine with the best ever suspension and amazing tires with the perfect size? You pay a big ole premium for these amazing features!!!!!

I thought people buy a pro since it's built to race straight from the factory and it doesn't need anything? It's perfect I thought? :notsure:
