Haha it works out decently. I just turn the radio up when I hear it! If I hit anybody I tally points on my dash, kinda like a game for me

Haha jk, I put it on my trailer that I'm building

I remember rain like that. I was in HS at the time and the streets between my house and San Pedro High were fast moving rivers.

Haha that's a perfect fit! So cool! I've got dclb envy. You have a very sick ride!

How do you find the length having the swing out on an already long truck? That was one of my major concerns and why I didn't end up getting one... I'm almost wishing I did now though, but still not sure

Haha yeah it works really well on the trailer. And thanks man. I'm pretty happy with where the truck is. Never done though hahaha.

It's pretty long but I love it. It looks awesome, keeps my spare outta my bed, and looks awesome. What other concerns do you have besides it making the truck longer?

Nope, never done! Despite how many times I've told my wife "just this one more thing and that's it!" I think she gave up though.

My reasons for not going with the swing out aside from length were that I have a canopy that I am in and out of a lot, and I didn't fancy the idea of having to open it all the time. I also mountain bike, and it's convenient being able to just throw the bikes over the tailgate for a quick trip. That wouldn't really be possible. I really like the simplicity without the swing out as well. The other factors were weight over the back and cost, both of those minor set backs.

Now that I've mounted my air tank underneath, and am planning to move up to 35s though, I'm having a hard time with where to stick the spare. Not a huge fan of wasting bed space or having that weight on the roof if I got a cab rack. It's already top heavy with the RTT. I also thought I could fab some sort of detachable bike rack on the swing out, which would be super cool, and solve that problem.

But money is always a thing as well... Decisions!

Welcome to my dilemma as well. I haul my motorcycles too often that a swingout is practical. The only thing I've found to do is like this

Hahaha yeah man, never ever done!!

I understand your reasoning for no swingout. The only time it gets annoying for me is when I need to load lumber in the back for any projects. It would be nice to just let the tailgate down to make room but cant really leave the swingout open while I'm driving lol.

My wife and I celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary this weekend up in Big Bear in the snow. It was awesome. We had a great time. Didn't get to wheel at all but had an awesome time hanging with our kiddo and doing a little snowboarding! For the 5 year anniversary the tradition is to get eachother a gift made of wood. My wife killed it!! Got some of our pictures printed on small tree stump slices! Super cool

One from when we first started dating along with a sweet message on the back

And one from the 7 state 3300 mile trip where my daughter was made haha :anonymous:
Saw some wild horses by the Tetons and it was awesome!!

Love it Ryan. That's awesome. I had to shown my girl even though she hates when I show her TW stuff, she liked it too.
Me n my girl are a bit untraditional but we had our 5 year anniversary of living together and she had me make a dining room table (wood gift). I'm still working on it though. Haha.
We also celebrate our 10th year of being together later this year and I think she's just trying to get me to make more stuff for the house.

Thanks buddy! I was stoked when she gave it to me! Turned out great. Haha nice, she knows you're handy and she's taking advantage of that. Women love when their men can make things and fix things. My wife tells me all the time that she finds that attractive about me lol

Fiiiiinnallly wired up my 40" Morimoto X Torch light bar today!! Been sitting for a couple months. Made a cutout for the light bar in the Prinsu wind fairing and bolted it on pretty easily!!

Also welded on some tabs and some bolts to mount my Hi Lift on the 4xinnovations bed bars. Painted them up and installed today as well
