If they drop roster will the LCI be moot then too (that thing is worthless)? Not sure how much interchanging there is between current CA-compliant models and new models that are not, but we still have the 10-round mag restriction which may/may not limit what we can purchase (at least at the beginning). E.g. don't know if magazines on a Gen3 fit a Gen4 or if Sig P226 magazines fit a Sig P226 Legion etc etc.

My CA sig doesn't even have a LCI. And 226 fits 226 and so on as far as I know. Just no dumbass spacer to block to 10 rounds. I have "seen" many 15 round mags for my sig first hand. Everything fires much easier without the spring compressed to hold only 10 rounds.

I believe the non CA and CA roster legal is simply a manufacturer not wanting to pay to re up the roster eligibility as CA demands they refile for acceptance for anything, even a color change.

True!! It's off the truck, and just about ready for pickup. I need to power wash some of the 5 years of epic adventure dirt out of the nooks and crannies. Then it's all yours. Just getting it freshened up for ya.
I was going to go pick up my new bumper from Billy today, but his powdercoater dropped the ball on him (and me I guess) and it's been pushed back a week :(

I assume the magazines being used as they were designed w/normal # of rounds would operate better than being modified to be CA compliant. I assume that there are models out there not on the roster that currently do not have 10-rd mags available that would need to have them designed. Probably not too difficult but just wouldn't be immediately available if the roster was torched.

honestly i feel as if CA dropped the roster, the paranoia would go away. Initially there would be a big boom for buying but it would die down and everything would be normal in under 3 years.

Kind of like drugs, make it legal, people lose interest.

very true, but if you ban it. Everyone must have it lol. If its legal the people who are on that edge wont be pushing others out of the way to get it.

I agree with this. Its only a big deal until its not banned or illegal anymore, then like you stated, everything calms down after a certain amount of time. Still sucks in the meantime though. I would be living out of a cardboard box if they dropped the roster though, thats forsure. I would be broke.... lol
