Another no on factory mats. Passenger slips, they both have poor coverage and lose their shape. Also cleaning them is difficult with those deep close together groves. I switched to Husky last week.

Vote weathertech! I do like the carpet mats in the summer though.

I got the factory all weather mats with the truck I didn't pay extra for them. They are ok, but I will be buying husky mats soon.

I know there's a lot of negative reviews on the OEM AW mats but I've been pleased with mine. Haven't noticed the shifting passenger mat with my wife getting in and out

I take it you have never owned Weathertechs. I have some in my 2000 4Runner that I bought in 1996 for my 1997 4Runner. They are the best. One of my kids once spilled a Big Gulp and the liner held it all. I have the factory Tacoma liners and they leave a lot to be desired.

Aren't the door sill peel & stick protectors part of the rubber mats? I got that with mine and like that.

Things I wish I could have left off the order when I bought my truck: the floor mats (bought weathertech a week later) and the roof rack (ordered a prinsu right away), maybe the chrome exhaust tip too.

The question should be, which ones will get the job done for the least amount of money, OEM or Aftermarket?

Please refer to build (click signature picture)
You should get both...and then buy full weathertechs and sell the stockers

my wife dumped a hole lg coke on the floor just recently, all of it was easily soaked up with napkins from the weather techs, I think the factory ones would have spilt over.

Yup. You get the door sill protectors with the OEM rubber mats. I have not had any problem with the passenger side slipping. I don't get the big gulp spill bit. If that happens, the chances it will be right over the mats at the time seems slight. More likely to end up in your lap or on the console. For general weather (snow, rain, mud, etc.) the OEM rubber mats are fine. If you want to dump a bucket of water on the floor periodically, maybe you do need something else.

There is an option to get the two as a package, but they're separate part numbers and were actually a better deal not buying them with the truck.
