Well this actually happened yesterday, but took my truck in for fist 5k service. They did the ECM update TSB 0077-16 (doesn't say Rev1 for some reason), installed the hole plugs for the howling noise TSB 005316, and all the basics for the 5k service. I also asked them to check for entune update as it's a pain in the ass with my iPhone 7 Plus/Pandora/Bluetooth/Messages, sadly there wasn't one but said to check back at next 5k and restart my phone once a week . As for the two TSB's, the shifting feels a lot better but still not perfect. The howling noise completely stopped with the plugs so that's good. Just wanted to give an update.

There is a 12 pin connector on the back side of your current mirror, just unplug it once you receive your Homelink mirror. Have a (I think) T20 Hex screwdriver ready (you could buy a whole set of Hex screwdrivers for as cheap as $15 from Lowe's or HomeDepot). Once you disconnected the back power connector and loosened the screw, slowly lift up the mirror, don't rush it. Now, insert your new mirror, tighten the screw but not too tight, you don't want to crack your windshield, then install the back connector. I got the instruction how to program the Homelink from the seller, but there are plenty of short clips on youtube teaching us how to program it. Time to enjoy, and put those bulky garage door & gate openers away. Cheers

Thanks, about what I expected! T20 indicates a Torx head screw instead of a Hex, but I have both types of bits so I'm good to go!

Yeah that's the one I got as well. Didn't say Rev 1 but it definitely fixed the shifting. It's a lot better. I was told it is the Rev 1. I also got the Entune update. Haven't really noticed anything different tho.

No allignment yet but I do need to do one desperately
My steering is a little off and my tires are toeing inwards so I need to have it corrected before I drive it anymore
Other than that no issues as of yet!

Oh ok thanks, good to know. I know I updated my entunes myself on the second day I had the truck, not sure if that's the update you have. I'll have to look at the version when I leave work. He did say to check with them the next time at service, said they come out with updates every now and then.

    Nice job.

Make sure you have these to go along with it, then head to Orange County and you'll be god.

Yeah, definitely different than everything else out there.. What I'm thinking that would be cool, but expensive would be to take this grill, cannibalize a TRD Pro grill (cut out the center bar) and graft it into the recessed grill.
