Even on 37s, we run down I10 to Cali at about 95-100.

I mean, in Mexico of course. On the way to La La Land from Phoenix.

Mini Mod Day at my place on Saturday, February 11. We'll be putting some 5100s on @n0tRyan Tacoma and I know some of the folks in here have random installs they want to do.

I don't have a ton of space, but can fit like 1 truck in the garage, 2 in the driveway and a few on the street, so like 6-7 can get some work at once and people can just hard park, drink beer, point and laugh. I have most of the tools needed to work on a Toyota, but it'd be a good idea to bring whatever you have. So erryone can wrench at once.

Probably grill up some burgers and dogs too, so bring your beers and safety equipment.

Crossroads are Baseline and Gilbert, in Gilbert.

Start around 9 in the morning.

Shakedown run to Butcher Jones and/or Sycamore Creek Saturday afternoon or Sunday. Time tbd based on install and hangover times.

 

My 4 cyl civic averages 38mpg and it still might be faster than my V6 tacoma on pavement, unless you are supercharged with lots of goodies a truck is not fast. Now take that off road and which one is "faster" changes real quick

Haha I was going to say up to around 60 or so the dirt bike will beat them both lol. I'm curious but a dirt bike on the road has to get to 60 in around 3 seconds

I'd be surprised if a dirt bike did 0-60 in 3 seconds. Especially if on dirt tires. Maybe on street race rubber.
My CBR1000RR was good for about 2.8 seconds and it was far from stock. It was also good for 187mph. Again, in Mexico of course.

 

That is why I was thinking its not far off though. The first 20mph or so the dirt bike will win because of weight, and I would be done at around 60mph Power to weight on a brand new KTM 450 is not far off most road bikes

 

I'll also be installing another lift this Saturday morning, so if anyone has work to do, my garage and tools are open as always.
