Hahaha you know, that reminds me that I had a bucket of stakes behind my kids car seat in the trunk one day and it took someone at work to see it and tell me that that was probably a bad spot to put them. Oops

I can only imagine that the pro is better than the maxx in one area which would be mud. As proven by the endless praise they get in their long thread compared the the much shorter STPro thread. Get the pros if you are in mud a bunch and for looks, but I personally like the looks of the maxx over pros. The STMAXX are excellent tires in many situations. I believe they are much better than the KO2 in as well. There is no way that a KO2 would be better in deep snow, it wont clean out. The compound that the ko2 is made of and the sharp edges of the treads tears very easy. I've seen a new set of ko2 get shredded in one rockcrawling session at 18psi. I think the people that complain that the stmaxx are no good on ice are either trying to drive to fast and have too much air pressure.

Here at 4 psi which was a little low

Easily pulled me up this great trail we have, but I'm double locked

That's how much snow I was dragging uphill.

OH and the most important to me...sidewall protection...I unknowingly picked up this spike on engineer pass one day then drove home and back the following day on 80 miles of winding road. I noticed it the next morning airing down before Stony.

Here they are that day. We were heading down and our friend, this jeep on 35's was struggling. I saw my line and went for it. You can see as I make the pass the truck starts to float some as I have to let off throttle and regain direction. Then I gas it and they pull me right on over and through. There are a couple other videos of that day if you click the t_buzz and go to my videos.

It's amazing how little I'm on when I'm not working. I'll check maybe a few times a day, but otherwise I'm sitting in front of a computer all day for work. Shit sucks.

romped a few areas with them. Absolutely love them. I have adjusted the tubes quite a bit and found my sweet spot for rebound/compression. Really happy with them, going to Vegas for Mint in March and Pismo in April and will get some video of how it does.
