    if you want to be cheap then do a spacer lift. gets the height you want and doesnt cost alot. id recommend a bilstein adjustable kit. get a good ride fairly cheap and can be fine tuned up front to get the right amount of lift.

    I have never looked into spindle lifts since I have a 4wd. It looks like it sets your wheel base out a bit farther and lifts the front end a bit, but thats all I really know.
    Just remember: buy once, cry once. If you plan on keeping it a long time and want a lift with good ride quality and will last, go for the higher rated stuff. It's expensive, but in the long run the cheap stuff will cause you more money down the road where the good stuff will (likely) still be going strong.

    I have spoken to a bunch of the 2WD Prerunner guys and they all love the spindle lifts.

    I was looking at getting the Maxtrac for the front & Dakars w/ 1500s for the back. Should be ~$1300 and a decent ride i think. Thoughts?

    I can't speak for others, but my rear 5100s lasted for only a few years before one of them blew a seal. I replaced both of them at that time. Still have the adjustable coilovers up front with no issues to date.
    Edit: no heavy off road use, only off road with them twice actually.

    I have kings on the rear on mine. Depends on how you want your truck to ride. Icons can be stiff vs Kings are more plush. If you arnt sure, I would recommend riding with some people and get your own perspective of what you would want.

    Well we got a pretty mixed bag of folks...
    @fatfurious2 has icons all around
    @Lots2Learn58 has OME
    I have Kings all around

    We should do a meet up and sometime before you pull the trigger and get you to drive some of our rides. I think Icons are a little too harsh of a ride for me personally on road, but I don't know how they are off road.

    Lately we have been doing these wrenching Tacoma take overs at Lots2learn's in springfield which is pretty close to you.
