That's a good point. They came together with the truck, but if you buy them separately you would need to order both and I assume they would be somewhat cheaper. But don't just look up the cost of the mats if you buy separately and assume that includes the sill liners.

Correct, though the advice to "never assume" is particularly applicable to any automotive items. Just because they're orderable as a package with the vehicle doesn't mean they're a package when purchased as an accessory.

    FWIW,
Double Cab Door Sill Protectors are PT747-35161, $33.24 delivered via Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017YBNDEC
Double Cab OEM All-Weather Floor Liners, front plus rear, black are PT908-36124-20, $101 delivered via Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017YAIJYM

Just taking a quick look it seems the Husky X-Act set is almost $220 and the WeatherBeaters are $200 for the set. No doubt they have better coverage, but for an extra $100 to $120 I'd expect them to. If I lived in snow country or worked on a farm I'd probably spring the extra $100 for the Husky's over the OEM All-Weather, but for my needs I don't see a reason to spend the extra cash. I'm happy enough with the $102 OEM AW's and the price difference more than paid for my remote-start hardware (not the SmartStart though)

I live on a farm and I'm more than happy with the oEM rubbers. Do I wish I had more coverage yes, but not for the cost of the better mat.

Mine came with the the carpet mats and winter ones (hexagon style). I gave the hex ones a try but my wife got me the weather techs for xmas. I am glad she did. When I pulled the hex mats out there was a noticeable amount of salt stain for the short time they were in there.

Hexagon? Was that some older style all-weather mat? I don't recall seeing any hexagons on the ones I bought in Sept 2016.

Why say anything? What are they selling? Sez Tacoma already, too often, don't need no glittery letters on the tailgate or door sills to get it across. Pretty hard to get rid of. Debadge, etc. What are you selling?

Yeah. It would be nice if they just worked, no matter what you spill.

No badges, except the grill and tailgate. Bless 'em for that, sorta. And the mats. And the door sill protectors. And the bed liner. Works good. But c'mon. I know your name. It's Tacoma. Let it be.

I think mine was Code 2T for the All Weather Floor Liners/Door Sill Protectors and it was $139, about the same as Amazon that you listed.

I ordered and tried both of them the weathertech and husky. Decided to go with the weathertech. Although the dead pedal isn't covered entirely (the husky linear covers it entirely), the drivers side the liner wall comes up much higher which i normally kick all the time and hate when the carpet gets dirty.

I work for an E-commerce site that sells aftermarket accessories. I had the original factory floor mats in there and while nice are no comparison to the Husky X-act contour that I have in there now. I've had WeatherTech in the past and still do for my wife's vehicle but I prefer the Husky mats.

Another vote against the OEM mats and for Husky mats. I've had Weathertech mats in another vehicle and they are slippery when wet with no ridges around the pedals which makes it hard to maintain pedal contact. The Husky mats have no such problem. The OEM mats were the first thing my wife disliked about her new truck and she's very happy with the Huskys.

The only problem I've had with the Husky mats is the passenger side. The part that sits over the door sill is raised. I've attributed this to my wife dragging her feet across the mats since she has a hard time getting in the vehicle.

I like the new OEM All Weather Liners. They have spikes on the bottom and don't slip. They fit and look great too with the Tacoma logo. Got the set for $100 shipped from Amazon.

Looks just like the ones I got in September, so unsure how new they are?

Does yours have the spikes? I thought that may have been an update because of complaints about the passenger matt slipping. They don't slip on me or my wife.

Yep, pretty spikey under the main part with the round parts under the front end.

Doesn't slide all over, but does move a little. I'm not unhappy with the mats, but I do have the VW clips on order.

There is another version. It has the hex or octagon shapes in them. I'll get a pic when I'm at my shop next.
