    I am actually in this very same, exact predicament.


    We are looking for something much bigger than the Explorer / 4runner class.

    It honestly leaves us very few options. Sequoia, Tahoe/Yukon, Expidition, Suburban/Yukon XL, Exursion.


    Sequoias are fairly bland in styling, but have impeccable quality for drivetrain.

    Tahoe and Yukon are again bland in styling, both inside and out. Questionable drivetrain issues as well. (same goes for YukonXL and Suburban)

    That leaves me at the Expidition and Excursion. The Expidition is boring as fuck. The Excursion is ok, but has engine issues with the diesel, and the V10 gets like 9mpgs. If you can find one, in good shape, you're gonna pay $20k+ for a decade old vehicle.
