INW Meet & Greet

Latest info:
My house north of Spokane
Sept 9&10 (welcome to come over on Friday afternoon/evening too)
Meet/Greet/camp in my yard (10 acres)

Maybe the weather will cooperate and I'll get a bunch of rain before then, but based of forecast now, no camp fire.



So I brought up the idea in another thread of a summer time meet and greet where western WA and OR people can come to eastern WA, and south ID people can come up, and anybody else from anywhere else is welcome too. To this venture, I would happily offer up my place, as I have plenty of room for parking, shooting in the back acres, and a fire pit.

My thought would be to have a multi day thing, because who wants to drive 8 hours for a few hours of talking, shooting, and drinking? Just to put it out here, I only have 1 spare bed in my house, 1 couch, and no door to my bedroom. Staying here would be more like camping. If you want to sleep with goats and horses, that can be arranged, but just note that is likely won't be very comfortable. Otherwise plan to bring a tent, be it a traditional camping tent, or RTT.

Now who is interested, and when would be good? June 17/18 are not available, and the weekend before July 4 will likely make for some bad traffic and because of the animals here, no fireworks.

Based on response so far, I am thinking somewhere toward September for this. I am not opposed to this being on labor day weekend, but that could provide for some really shitty traffic for anybody commuting.

• Sept 2-4 (Labor Day weekend)
• Sept 9-10
• Sept 23-24
• Sept 30-Oct 1

I will be in Seattle the 16/17 for tough mudder. These dates are Sat/Sun except Labor Day which is Sat-Mon. Anybody coming over could show up Friday night to get the best camping spot in the pasture. As we get later in September there is the likelihood of cooler temperature overnight, but no guarantee of that, dry weather, or rain, but that usually arrives more into October.

I was thinking more of grown children's toys, like the kind that throw hot lead. If you want to bring all the stuff over, we can have Kat jumping on the trampoline with the paintball gun, and me with bow and arrows aiming for you while you drive the gokart, I'm sure we can work it out.

Careful, one of the horses really likes the male goat. If sodomize the male goat, the male horse may sodomize you.

 

So no wheelin planned? I may be in northwest around Idaho then.

 

You can play in the easement behind my property. I've gotten stuck a few times, but only in snowy/icy conditions. Otherwise, no real plan for wheeling on this one.

Actually starts mid Feb for me Then a small break late May/early June, busy for 3-4 weeks, then a few week slow period then back to busy.
