one thing also to note, its a little more difficult to find tires for 16's. there are a lot more choices for 17's... maybe for 15's too @Brussell56

 

Km2s come for 16s. That's all I need to know.

Wow, Is it really that easy? Only thing stopping me I guess is I have that TRD Intake and not the OEM style with the tubing.

I have no idea about headlights.

 

There's enough choices available in 16" so that it ain't easy picking which tire I want....

Right now, it's between Coopers or BFG KM2's, 255/85/16, OR, one of a dozen different 285's. My bonus check should be in my hands in the next 3 or 4 weeks, so I'm gonna have to make up my mind real quick.

It's the best pure mud/rock tire that does everything else well that I've seen. I put 40k on my 33s, sold them to Zachk with half tread and he got another 30k.

 

And then sold them and somebody put more miles on them

 

I had just put KM2's on my Dodge about a week before it got hit and totaled. They are good mud tires. They are decent snow tires. Avoid ice. Avoid heavy HEAVY loads. The Dodge was a 3/4-ton, long bed, quad cab. The truck itself was almost 2000 lbs heavier than a Tacoma. I hauled a couple loads in it with the KM2's. One was a couple pallets of rock salt. Even with a LOT of air pressure, it was a squirrely ride. But....It shouldn't come into play on a Tacoma. It's unlikely you'll see 6500lbs of payload in a short bed Taco.

 

My Garmin Nuvi 52 GPS finally crapped out on me, any suggestions for a replacement?
