So, after getting a decent chunk of time, ive discovered Grid 2 is exactly like the original Grid, its a drift simulator. no reason why a Carterham Lola with full Aero package cant keep the rear end planted

 

You should look into Assetto Corsa. Then you'll be buying some propper racing pedals and wheel. I freaking love it!

Checking out these two prerelease games

Avorion and Osiris

They seem to have pretty good reviews so far, despite the bugs. I loved games like minecraft and simple sandbox styles. But the graphics and style of Osiris seems so much better. Has anyone had a chance to play either of these games?

Just please not another No Man's Sky.

 

I've followed Osiris for awhile and the it's moved along nicely for the last couple of months.
Astroneer is another one that looks interesting.

I'm still rocking a 2500K (stock) partly because at the time I picked up a mobo that couldn't overclock. I haven't changed anything except SSD's and GPU since 2012.

Debating on waiting longer, and rebuilding my whole rig, or swapping the mobo and overclocking the 2500k. It still does fine. I have slight issues in The Division.

I'm also looking into a 144hz 1440p monitor. I currently only have a Titan Black but have someone in the family who is a part of Team Green so he treats me well with GPUs as long as I don't sell them and help him on house projects once in awhile. He told me, "but whatever monitor you can afford and I will make sure you have a GPU that can run it at max settings."

 

No kidding! I like that this is taking off, when I first subbed to it it was pretty quiet. This is a great change.

It was a powerhouse! But I got really hot and I really didn't move it much so it was essentially used like a desktop.

I originally got it for college but just used my tablet 90% of the time.

I have 7 Days to Die and just cant get into it...I feel any type of survival sim...you need a decent amount of time to learn the mechanics and such. As soon as I get the hang of it and feel I've accomplished something, someone kills me for no god damn reason.

With that said, I also own Miscreated, which is a similar game. Joined a No-KoS server for Los Angeles servicemen (LAPD/LAFD) with my buddy. Spent a couple hours playing/finding each other and looting. Was KoS and lost everything. Haven't played since. Ark was the same way.

 

I'm going to play more Dishonored. Probably start Oxenfree as well. Seemed like a good story game.

 

Yeah it was definitely a powerhouse laptop for it's day. You just going to keep it around or sell it?
