LOL no way they trade Hamilton. Not only did Burke already go on a rant about that, Hamilton has been there best player on December for the last few months. Trading him would make them worse not better.

But I think LA will be a great place for the ASG. I'm sure it will go off and be a good event. The Kings deserve some credit for hanging in there w/o their backbone (JQ). So they get props from me there. A few guys need to score a bit more and it would go a long way, for them. I think Quick's return in March could be huge, as long as it isn't too late.

 

They won't score under Sutter. They play the same way Calgary did back in the mid 2000s. If they don't get goaltending and a couple of goals they flop.

 

Ya that is very true. Their play-style is a bit outdated. The league is moving more and more toward a speed / possession / transition type of game. The big body, slow you down type of play is hard to do without being able to totally shut the other team down. But I still think aside from Carter, you have some guys who are really underachieving, offensively.

 

Again, the same thing happened when Sutter was in Calgary. Ignlia went from a 50 goal scorer to a 35 goal guy. When Sutter got off the bench Ignlia scored 50 goals again. Doughty would be know as one of the best offensive defenseman of all time if he played for anyone else in the league.

 

Sutters system works with a goalie that can post a 2 or less gaa. It fails without that.
