I was changing my fuel filter, pain in the ass that was. Under driver side of the motor, above the starter, bla bla bla. I figure if you can help me you'll most certainly know where the fuel filter is. Lol! Just above the two freeze plugs, behind my fuel pump there was a sensor or something. Two wires going to it and I broke the plug off. My ? is what is the plug, sensor thing ?

It says it's an 02 so it must have the 2.7 because the fuel filter on the 3.4 is below the driver's door inside the frame rail. And that's not where he described his fuel filter was on his truck. Just sayin'

I think the knock sensor is in that area. What colors are the wires?

Knock sensor has only one wire. Maybe the camshaft position sensor?

After installing the fuel filter try to start the engine. A scanner should tell you which sensor is out.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
If it's on the back of the motor, it's more than likely the Engine temperature sensor. OP the fuel pump is in the gas tank. Can you take a pic of the area where the sensor is?

    Is it here?
