I like these skids. Does anyone know how they compare to the All Pro skid in terms of looks/performance/fit?

As far as fit, the one we tested fit perfectly. I'm sure they're the same in functionality as allpro's, if not more so. They're made of some thick-ass steel. As far as looks go, just take a look at the pics!

Hey bro. Its installed, but too dark now for pics, I'll post some tomorrow. I went to Lowe's and picked up a piece of steel 12" x 18" for about 6 bucks. It was in the section where they sell mailboxes and "for sale" signs and such. They had a big assortment of metal pieces. Then I got a can of red rustoleum and a syringe of epoxy. all together about $17 at Lowes.

Are these basically replacements of the factory steel skid, just beefed up?

I have a 6" lift, I like them, but I don't think it will work on my setup. :(

It should work just fine, if your stock plate will work, this should too.

You lose the stock steel plate, with a 6" lift, but that may be due to the sway bar, but I took mine off. I'll have to double check if that's the case or not. I just have the aluminum plate now, which I kinda had to make work.

Interesting, take a look and let me know. If it needs modifying, please give me a ballpark of what would need to be done. I might be able to work something up

Would pictures of my front end where the skidplate would go help you see if anything major is in the way?

    Thanks!

Yeah, a picture might help a bit. And maybe you could point out what would keep a stock plate from fitting.

Here is the info on the plates that I posted on the other thread:

Hey guys, I talked to the bedliner today and he said he could do it for 45 bucks. I wont mark it up any as an incintive to go with my plates. However to keep it at that price they typically need to be ordered in groups of 4, with an exception here and there.

I offered the powdercoat at 40 so this is just an additional 5 for the liner, which I'm very pleased with how it turned out.

I am currently taking down orders for the next batch. I will be putting the order in about a week or two from now, depending on how many people order in that time.

    Here's the pricing break down

Skid plate without cutouts - 180
Skid plate with TRD cut - 190

    Powdercoat finish - 40
    Bedliner finish - 45

    Shipping - 40
If you are in the Houston or Shreveport, La area... local pickup is an option.

PM me if you would like me to put you down for the order or have any questions.

Unfortunately we do not have the hardware for stamping. I cut put 3 circles in there if you're just a fan of the geometry. Stamping a piece of 3/16 plate might get a bit nasty anyways. I am toying with the idea of doing custom cuts out of these, kind of like my emblems.
