A little So Cal wildlife.
I am part of a wildlife rescue/rehab outfit and if I have the opportunity I try to make photographs of the birds that come through our system. Here are a few...

The images below were made at the South end of the Salton Sea. When we get Burrowing Owls brought in to us from workers at LAX or Long Beach airport (the owls get lost on their migration South and will hang around the grass areas on the fringe of the airports, a dangerouse place for them) we take them them down to the Salton Sea where they have a high chance of survival due to the abundance of food, favorable weather and available shelter in the feilds. In these photos a Burrowing Owl is about to be released into the farm fields.

 

Anyone want to try a Wacom tablet for post work? I have a almost brand new one...free to a good home.

I've tried multiple upon multiple times to try to get used to using mine for editing and just can't get the flow going with it.

I feel like if it was one of the pen display's I'd be more comfortable with it but like this it just doesn't work out great for me with editing. Works for my other software fine.

I've had mine about 6 years.

 

I have the cheap version and only use it in illustrator when I actually want to "draw".

 

I've bought a bit on there also. Never had a bad experience and have dealt with some great people. I agree with you on some overvaluing their gear. Funny when there's 5 of them on there and one guy is $200 over everyone else. Lol

What kills me is that 14-24 2.8 just won't come down in price.

Yeah I don't use PS CS much so I never got good with it and it never benefited me. I always just used my mouse cause I didn't want to mess with it and it sat for a year or so.

 

Finally took the leap and made a "business expense" upgrade for the year. Couple of X-T2s on their way, lightly used and very discounted!

Anyone need a wedding or couple's session photographed? Gotta make up the lost dough ha

Nice. I sold my baby (X100T). It literally hurt to let it go. But I wanted to have a second body for weddings this season that was identical to my main body rather than just a point and shoot on the side ha.

Still have flashes, a light meter, a Fuji GA645, a GoPro Session, etc. left to sell yet.

 

What light meter do you have?
