A lot of stuff, just ask and I'd be happy to tell you. Or we could wheeling/camping
While I too hate the trans and wish they kept the 4.0L engine my plan is to get Nitro Gears 4.88. That being said 45k is the sticker and you can't really say that's what "we" paid for it. You didn't pay the sticker, at least I hope you didn't. Heck I didn't pay over 40k.

Hell no I didn't pay close to sticker. My dealer wouldn't budge off the sticker on their pro's.

I think 4.88's will really improve these trucks

You always forget the color and heated black leather interior lol. That's the two main reasons I choose a pro for my daily driver.

    Mine shifts fine...after 2 reflashes.

The 4.0 would have been nice. I didn't pay sticker either.

SC would be a game changer on these trucks. It would have the balls to pull at these lower Rpm's then.

Cement is the only thing unique about the pro and it's a nice color. I ordered my quicksand since I'm a neat freak and it always looks clean.

The leather, meh. They should have did the material they use in the 4runners if it was a true off road machine.

Quicksand would've been my second choice, but when I saw cement I couldn't say no. I will say cement is the same way though, it looks clean for so long. Even a fresh wash it almost looks the exact same, just more shine to it.

I would have done the pro for the color only. I knew I'd want to change the wheels and suspension on it. I'm just not a fan of how Toyota did it with the pro.

How do you people struggle so much with what the "PRO" is?

Its a completely factory-backed "Class-7 ish" race truck. You can get a 6 speed manual transmission, The FOX internal bypass on the TRD PRO are 2.5inch front and 2.5inch rear, Valved specifically for the Tacoma. If the FOX kits that come on the 17' TRD-PRO were aftermarket shock kits, they would be equivelent to the "stage-4" kits (minus remote-resi).

It wasnt designed for someone on a budget. If you had Raptor money, but wanted something smaller in size, or with a clutch, this was the truck for you. The 17 TRD PRO says, "im specifically looking for a mid-size truck/6mt Transmission and cost is no barrier". And Toyota Delivered just that, and for my money, I would honest to god take a 2017 Pro over a Raptor any day. Its theoretical that you could get a PRO and never "need" to mod the truck after buying it to get performance that would take a professional amount of skill to out drive the machine. The manual transmission is PRICELESS in the driving experience, the FOX internal bypass specifically valved and created for the truck is literally only out done by remote resi-KING kits, and all of this is on the factory books. The rest of us quote "poor" folk had to get TRD-OR's and dump money into the aftermarket.

You cant analyze the PRO on it whether or not its a "deal". Because conceptually, that's not what the truck was ever supposed to be.

    The pro actually says

"I bought my truck lifted and tell everyone about it. I vape. I mall crawl and make sure to tell people to 'watch out for my pro, bro'. I make sure to show off my hood skewp because only on the pro model it delivers 14 RWHP. I added a $600 TRD intake because I paid a extra price for this truck but it didn't even come with an intake! And I have money for a PRO or TRDOR+ suspension but not ford raptor money (it has lift blocks in the rear, is that any fucking better???). I tell bitches I drive a pro then I pick them up dressed like this

you basically made your truck into a pro though... so i dont understand. You bought "TRD SEMA" wheels and an icon suspension, and browse for TRD decals to cover up your centercaps. lol "built not bought bro"

conceptually its the exact same thing, except mix-and-match brands, and now you have to worry about your future warranty issues (which I saw was one of your concerns) instead of everything saying "Toyota" and being backed by the factory. I guess I just dont understand you knocking on the PRO, when you obviously are taking things like "my suspension will void my warranty" and "TRD branding" into consideration on your truck?? The pro essentially circumvents all of this, and I would wager you are very close to the same Monetary investment, with your build vs. a PRO?

The center caps came with the wheels.
Show me where I was concerned about my warranty? I fully understand that messing with my suspension will mess with only any suspension related warranty claims.

Yep. Probably the same investment. Minus the tacky stick on badges, overpriced muffler & fake skewp. Plus the JBL system

A lot of stuff, just ask and I'd be happy to tell you. Or we could wheeling/camping

There's always gonna be Douche Bag Haters like this who think they know everything.

Also the Trd Intake isn't $600, try half that

    Haters gonna hate!

And the fact that you own a Tacoma and made a post like that hating on other Tacoma owners is embarrassing.

And this post says, "I'm a jealous douche that can't afford a Pro. I also like to talk shit about things/people that I know nothing about".
