What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Replaced the burnt out fog light bulb

 

Installing supercharger. Taking a long time but still have a couple months till spring. Just painted the other valve cover today and should be going on this weekend.

Picked up a few things to play with

 

Whod u get the kings through? I want some next!

 

Over the last few days.

Changed out the impeller fan filter. Apparently it's the cool thing to do. Here's the info on it.



Changed out my needle bearing with an ECGS clam shell bushing. Thank God no more vibrations!

Then added full katzkin leather interior!



Thanks @HomerTaco for the kick ass write up! I still need to go over them with a hair dryer to "iron" them out.

 

You install the katzkin you self? I was going to but no time. He'll I can even get a good pic it's dark when I got to work and dark when I get home.
Wish I could have done the install it was 500 but they did a great install

 

I did install them myself. More time consuming than anything. Also my hands are KILLING ME!! Haha, but it was well worth it to do myself. I love how it came out.

 

Got my led's today from Jumper's LEDs (Thanks Chris!) and threw 'em in right away. Pretty much complete with my lights for now

Parking lights completed the front end with Morimoto projectors & led fogs--


Side note: absolutely love the output, just as good(if not better) as the set up I have in my other car


License plate led's as well as the 700lum reverse lights--


And the interior of course! --need to cop me some seat covers soon.

 

Made them myself Might have some more for you guys soon. They'll be a little different though.

Welcome!I got that blood red Taco! Don't mind the damage I got a bumper I'm in middle if preping & painting.!

 

Not too long ago I bought (from here) some led Amber side marker leds for the front. Yes they were brighter (because they were led) than the factory incandescent bulb, but I thought I would try another company/brand and they were MUCH brighter, cheaper and better built. I received them today and swapped them out.

Also, I prefer factory Toyota switches, so I bought a FJ cruiser aux light switch and wired it to my new bed lights. Those are actually factory tundra led bed lights that fit and look factory on the Tacoma.

 

Do you have an outlet to plug the hair dryer into?! Did I finally find a mod you can copy ME on?!?! covers look good!

 

Funny you mention this. What did you use for the wiring? Im looking for terminals thatll fit the plug for this switch.
