Ugh, the off-road shop called to let me know they had to delay installing the BDS 6" w/ coil over lift in my 2017 Sport. It isn't cleared yet through the manufacturer. I called BDS and they said they have the prototype completed and are just waiting for the OK and enough product to keep on their shelves...no confirmed date. (they also said the lift has been tweaked from the 2016)

They really need to hurry, because I feel like I'm driving a mini-van around!

Just in case it gets delayed too long, anybody have a suggestion for a quality 6" lift for my 2017 Sport?

My BDS 6" is being installed tomorrow on my 2017 TRD OR. So they're available.

Sorry I didn't update! I had one installed last October, got an ok from their tech. It's been working great, couldn't be happier.

What's the difference between 2016 taco and 2017 taco?

Very minimal differences. I don't think any in the suspension. It's the same kit as the 2016.

OK cool just wondering cause I've only had to modify the 15' kit to fit a 16'

Some electrical stuff. My alarm module wasn't compatible between the 2016 and 2017.

But suspension wise they are the same right? I'm just trying to imagine why you would have an issue with the BDS lift

Yes. I used the 2016 kit. When I originally called BDS for the ok, they said they were going to tweak it, but obviously that wasn't accurate.
