X2. Quadruple check those terminals

 

I can hear the pump whining while trying to turn. Especially going slow in a parking lot, trying to pull out of my garage etc. I can hear it for sure.

 

I got a strap or 2. Should be home this afternoon.

 

I would definitely take the cap off, turn the wheel lock to lock repeatedly in a parking lot, and check the fluid level. If you see bubbles in the reservoir then you still have air in the line.

If a bleed doesn't solve it, get a pump from Autozone. Lifetime replacement. Mine is great

 

Are they just regular tow straps or are they the snatch (elastic) style?

A recovery strap will stretch. A tow strap does not. And then you have snatch straps that stretch even more.

 

Depends on when you do it I work this weekend.

Pretty sure it's a snatch strap. I thought all tow straps stretch/snatch.

 

Any of you 1st gen dudes know if there's a dual batterie set up for the tacomas like there is for the second gens?

 

Saturday. But on the bright side I will have one install under my belt so the likely hood we fuck yours up is reduced by like 7 1/2%

Yep. Loose positive terminal. Anyone have good recommendations on battery terminals? Need one that will handle some wire as I have 2 1/0 ring terminals plus a few other small ones.

 

Until you apply the comfort-to-consumption ratio...For each additional 5% of comfort towards a project, a person consumes an additional 12 pack...so in the end it may still get fucked up but it will look that much better

 

I have one, but alas I am on the east side.

Edit: didn't realize what the difference was from a snatch strap to a tow strap. I only have a tow strap. Sorry!
