That sounds pretty solid! I have about the same things. I used to mountain bike pretty often and the pouch i carry everything would fit in that camelbak and came in handy a few times.
Another thing I forgot that I always carry is super glue! Works great at closing up deep cuts!

I went to my local Surplus Store, and picked up 2 basic med kits for $10 each. cheap, has a list of everything included, and then just built my First Aid Kit around that.

Nice! I have thought about going that route, but then i think about buying each individually so that i can build multiple kits and have some left over to restock what was used...

I like what you did with the ammo can, painting it red and all, looks clean! Where did you get the first aid stencil?

it basically is individual. two small packs of assorted med kit supplies. the basic stuff, which is perfect. Then you can add to that.

Thanks, it was my Dad's ammo can, he painted red years ago. I repurposed it. made the stencil at work on the CAD table, painted, then cleared the entire thing with gloss clear coat.

well I meant for my air and water "tools". I keep my air hose, fittings, water hose, deflator, etc in there.

Oh ok. haha. I was thinking you had a compressor and water storage or something.. I was like "wtf does that guy have???" hahaha

Ammo cans are the shit! And you can lock them! I just need to figure out how to utilize mine with a bed cover on... I may just cut out some sections of the mounts to make room to mount the cans on the rails. Placement will be key though as i need to make sure the bed cover will shut.

you might have to make a bracket to mount to the rails, then mount the ammo can lower, on said mount. you can see where mine sits.. thats how both of them sit actually. you have to clear the lids is the problem.

    That just sparked an idea....
I can mount a long 3" wide aluminum plate to the rails that extend the length of the bed... this would lower the mounting point and i could then drill holes in the aluminum where i need to mount items... if that makes since.

Depending on how many things im trying to mount, i may only need a couple brackets like you said.

Exactly. That would work. The only thing, is then you would need some spacers to kick out the ammo can just enough, since the lid overhangs and hinges and needs to clear the mount. Thats why I had to mount mine higher than the rail.

Hmmm didnt think about that. Shouldnt be to bad though, maybe some long bolts and i can use nuts as spacers or something.

yeah just go to Home Depot or whatever and get some spacers. Nylon, Stainless, whatever. I still had to space mine out a bit using the rails. like I said, to clear the lid.

You mean the three times I washed it?
Washed it with the waterhose to just get the mud off
Washed it with the pressure washer again
Then washed it with the pressure washer again along with hand washing it.
