    Did you changed the ECU or tried to install on the BD tune?

    Got off phone with BD. This is what I learned. The bullydog is just the device that transfers the tune files which were created by magnuson. Therefore bullydog will not assume any responsibility on how the vehicle is running/tuned. I also asked about the return to stock feature, they told me the stock ECU information is saved on the BD device when you install the tune. I told them that I tried returning to stock as the user manual states however the ecu calibration ID or "vehicle details part number" (on the BD tuner) still reads 3YWK0200 which is the file for the supercharger. He couldn't give me an explanation as to why, just repeated that when you install the tune it backs up the stock ECU.

    Given the above findings I would recommend to everyone they do not install the BD at all costs. Now for those of us that have are basically fucked. I just sent an email to magnuson tech support. Waiting for a call. Also left gadget a voice mail as well.

    These are our options for us that are fucked.

    1) used ecu ? -Might work with dealer programming for VIN, immoblizer if so equipt. Then have option for TRD flash or ECUMAP3/UCONN, etc.
    2) New ecu -Will work with dealer programming for VIN, immoblizer if so equipt. Then have option for TRD flash or ECUMAP3/UCONN, etc.
    3) UCONN - Gadget said he would get it to work, might have to drive some URD affiliate to help figure out BD mess.
    4) MAPECU3 -You have to program
    5) Burn your vehicle to the ground and file insurance claim.

    I have the same issue after install and I also installed the UCON. But I have not touched my fuel pump yet. Do you think your fix worked?
    I assumed it was the fuel pump not keeping pressure in the lines after sitting. If I stop and start it will fire right up.

    How did this tech "remap" your tune? What device are you using? A stand alone system? Many, many have tried to crack the Toyota ECU over the years and have had little to no success. At best they can make a change but the ecu resets to default on its own after awhile.

    @moodywizard It looks like the AFR sensor calibrator will be a pretty solid band-aid for my truck (until the UCON is available). The boost in the video isn't 5psi like I've described before because it's only roughly 25% throttle. But this pretty much illustrates that AFR stays at stoich regardless of boost presence and it drops only when open loop occurs.

    Notice the bottom line on the scan tool.

    Fuel system status:
    CL=Closed Loop
    Oldrive=Open Loop

    https://youtu.be/ls_8NjhXCq4

    My AFR sensor calibrator should be coming tomorrow via FedEx. Hopefully I can find time to at least get it installed this weekend. Then I can work on tuning it on the way to and from the shop next week.
