i have a 1995 Tacoma and I am replacing the front passenger side cv axle. I don't really do any off-roading so I was wondering if the axles you can get at auto zone for like 40 bucks are sufficient.

from what Ive heard oem are the strongest but if you don't go offroad at all or not often then autozone axles should be fine

Exactly, OEM for offeoad but if you only use 4x4 a few times a year or just for some snow on the roads any CV will do just fine.
