It's a question of timing...you, sir....need parts quicker than Trump offends reporters. Not sure I can oblige as well.

If someone had already ordered and received the regular Solo, would it be possible for this person to get a hold of just the high clearance lower (whenever testing is complete)?

Well, we've already gone to production with the High Clearance truck mount...which will be accept the Solo tire mount. I'll check if we'll be selling the truck mounts as a stand alone...not sure.

That's how I'd want to do it too, leaving the tire on to save hassle.

For those following along, it can be done alone if you're willing to unbolt tire from tire mount.

Meant to post up these pics awhile ago. Got the Solo for my daughter's 3rd Gen 4Runner. Also ordered the Rotopax/Hi Lift Mount and the License Plate Relocation Bracket since the tire covers the license plate. Lic plate relo kit is pretty slick in that it has the new mount along with and LED light for license plate. Also includes a red LED brake light. Since she seldom tows, i just wired up the LED license plate light to be plug and play for the trailer hitch wiring. I could also come up with an extension that lights up the LPRB and also lights up a trailer should she decide to tow something.

She is running a Draw-Tite hitch with a J-lock (to keep it from rattling). With this hitch there is plenty of room for Rotopax between Solo and the rear hatch...but not quite enough for two stacked Rotopax. Will end up running a 3 gal Rotopax with 2 more.

This allowed us to move the 85 lb tire from the Yakima Basket on the OEM roof rack. While it makes the 4Runner longer, its a better trade off to make the spare accessible. Daughter is only 5'5" and 115 lbs, so lifting tire and wheel from roof rack was nearly impossible. It was tough enough for me so as not to break out rear glass when pulling it down (and that was on flat ground)

Posted lots of pics in my album/galleries if you want to view more.

Will post back on how it holds up to offroading this coming summer.
