For those of you who got the RAM vent mount, how much "turning side to side" adjustment does the accessory mounted to the ball have? Because the ball is mounted to the vent horizontally, you can't use the full range of intended movement of the ball, only a little bit. My intention is to mount the vent RAM ball on the passenger side vent closest to the middle of the truck, and run my GPS on it. I'm wondering if I will be able to angle the GPS towards me in the driver's seat, or if it will be essentially facing the middle of the truck?

I suppose if I mounted it to the driver's side middle vent it wouldn't be an issue, but I feel like that will be too close to my hand as I'm turning the wheel and using the windshield wipers.

Hey, I received mine Wednesday. Just want to say thanks for a great looking and functional solution to a ridiculous problem that was not well thought out to begin with.

Damn...very nice. I have to admit. I've honestly only touched the knobs maybe a dozen times. I use the steering wheel controls.

    No sticker :(

But aluminum bits are fun, too... knobs and Unholey mount.

You'll excuse the Brad Paisley. Actually, no, no you won't. I like Brad Paisley (and I love Justified), so there. If you compare the time to the song progress, you might be able to surmise that I listened to it like 5 times while installing this.

I just ordered a set without reading completely through the thread. I have a 2013, standard radio setup. Ill post here if they fit or not. Regardless, how would one go about getting a sticker?

Well dammit. Yeah i dont mind the knobs that are on there, I just like to spend money on everything and anything I can for the truck! Anything I can do to make it a little different.

    Anyone having fitment issues?

Got the premium knobs and they don't sit flush all the way around. They fit but crooked.

Installed mine today, they fit great. If you have checked to make sure you installed them correct and still have issues, take a pic and email them.

Ordered a pair for my 2017 TRD OR with Entune Premium, look great and no more changing stations when adjusting the volume. Just pull the crappy ones off and slide the new ones on. Great product and pretty quick delivery.

I just installed my new knobs. Wow what a pleasure to use them now. No more accidentally changing stations when turning the volume knob. I like the size and grip of them. Looks great too. One of my best inexpensive mods to date. It took 3 weeks to get them. Worth the wait!

Ram ball mounts allow for lots of movement. Basically 180deg when turned towards the "slots" where the two halves meet. The only issue is when you want the one end to move in this gap between the halves and you also want the other end to do the same major movement but 90deg turned to the other end. Lots of movement towards the slot and not so much into the body if all that makes sense.

    ******************

I got my premium knobs the other day. If you are on the fence just order them. You won't be disappointed, they make using the knobs functional unlike the stock ones which make you use the steering wheel controls because the stock knobs are useless. Hondo knobs are deeper allowing you to actually grip them without using the ends of your fingertips. The way they are sculpted to give you grip is just bonus. The stock ones are flawed in being too shallow forcing you to try and grip hard with your fingertips and being smooth slick plastic.

Since installing the Hondo knobs I use almost no finger pressure as the lightest touch is enough to grip the knobs.
