Close to Lakewood. They must have been casing my truck because they had the right tools, except for not bothering with unplugging the back up lights.

Stoked to say that I'm going to be opening my shop doors for fab jobs and vehicle maintenance on the weekends. Tubing bender, notcher and new welder is on the way. Vehicle lift will be installed within the next month or so. If anyone needs work done and I have an opening hit me up

I am ASE certified and a Toyota guy.

Installed a Techdeck this afternoon. Kinda spendy for what it is, but strong as hell. Should do the trick once I get the ram mount.

Do you have your fender liners in still? Or with glass can you not run them?

so you "cant" run the fronts with front glass, but when I cut 2.5" off the rear wheel wells, I took the rear liners and cut to fit the front.

The orig fronts are not wide enough to connect, but the rears were for me. little cutting and self tapping screws was all it took

thanks! I ran them for a long time without the liners, tried to make my own out of some rubber mat stuff but didnt have luck. I hated how much mud and gunk got buried up all the tiny crevices; made for a pain to clean. the liners are a huge improvement and keeps me worry free

I've taken my two 5-gallon metal cans on the ferry multiple times. They just looked at them, gave me an "approved" pass for my dashboard, and let me board.

    From the WA DOT site:

    "Gasoline:
Gasoline containers having a total aggregate water capacity of 12 gallons may be carried in a vehicle, provided no single container exceeds a maximum water capacity of 6 gallons; the containers must be USCG or UL approved and in good condition. All vehicles must have gas caps."

    Looking forward to Sunday!

Last time I did they said that unless it has a coast guard approved sticker they can't go on the ferry.. How ever the lady told us to go to the parking lot, hide them in the back then return to go through and she "didn't see anything".. You don't need any on this trip so I wouldn't take any

Haha not sure how many people are EAF going on this trip. I am so tempted to take my truck but at the same time I don't want shit to hit the fan while im there with my steering rack

Probably just depends on who ya get at the booth, and how good/bad a day they are having. I have no idea if my cans are USCG or UL approved, but they've never raised any issues.

Mine were mounted/locked up on my Prinsu rack for a couple trips. Otherwise, they were never mounted. But now that I sold my canopy and haven't figured out how to utilize the rack again, they'd probably just end up in the bed.

I say bring the truck and a few gallons of fluid. I think we'll have enough duct tape and zipties in the group to take care of any issues

Faster to drive around anyway, unless your from way up north and take a Edmonds/Kingston boat.

Trust me im tempted.. I'd have to through my IFS skid on tomorrow morning though then take it off before wednesday.

My parents moved to Port Townsend so I am staying with them tomorrow night, I take the edmonds ferry over. On the bright side my truck stays in the garage now :)

Are you going to trailer it to Tahuya since the rack is leaking?
